Avoiding food poisoning

Who's most vulnerable to food poisoning?

• Older people
• Young children
• Expectant mothers
• People who's immune system is low due to illness or medicine

If you're preparing foods for these groups take the following precautions.

• Avoid raw eggs or uncooked foods containing raw eggs like hollandaise sauce or Caesar salad dressing
• Avoid ripened soft cheese like Camembert, Brie or blue veined varieties
• Avoid raw shellfish like oysters
• Avoid chilled pate and other cooked sliced meats.
