  • Wooden, Chep and plastic pallets reused on an ongoing basis.
  • Truck motor oil is recycled, and speed limits are maintained.
  • Shaw's uses new trucks with better engines, aerodynamics.
  • Miles traveled have decreased due to new truck routing system.
  • Refrigerated trailers have start/stop temperature control. 27 trailers were retired and replaced with more environmentally friendly models that use non-CFC refrigerants (404A).
