  1. Disappointed. Customer 19/07/2018 at 8:20 pm

Your recent changes to your fish department at the Cohasset store have convinced me to shop for fish at Whole Foods, the Fruit Center, Mullaneys, or Fresh Market. Why did you eliminate most wild caught fish and now offer mostly “farm raised” fish? Could you please change that designation to “chemically fed fish” and list each and every chemical which are fed to the fish, including growth hormones and antibiotics. Yesterday I saw a sign over the salmon which informed me that artificial colors were added to the salmon. When I asked the young man behind the counter why artificial colors need to be added to salmon he explained that the food pellets that they are fed cause them to loose their color. So the question I asked myself was “Why would I purchase or eat chemically fed fish?” The answer is clear, I would not.
Did you know that Cohasset is on the ocean and that there are many fish caught wild in local waters? If you make an effort to buy and sell locally caught wild fish you would increase your sales and profits. If you do not, I and others will buy fish at the places listed above.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us! We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize the selection of fish in your local store has missed the mark. Your concerns have been shared with our Merchandising Teams for further review. –Destini
