You will need: 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened (to soften butter directly from refrigerator, microwave on high 10-15 seconds.) (not melted). Instructions: Wash hands before making Brownie brittle. 1. Heat: Heat oven to 375 degrees F or 350 degrees F for nonstick pan. 2. Stir: Stir brownie brittle mix and butter until dough forms. Dough may be stiff and need to be blended with hands. Press brownie brittle dough into 11x12-inch rectangle (about 1/8-inch thick) on ungreased cookie sheet. 3. Bake: Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool completely on pan, about 30 minutes. Remove brittle from pan, break into pieces. Store in an air tight container. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. Tear here.
